Gran Familia

Excellent Hosts and Location
They were very helpful to ensure our first trip to Vietnam was inviting, safe and friendly. We had a taxi waiting for us, no hassles.
Rooms we spacious, clean and had everything you need for a welcome stay- snacks, drinks, toiletries.
They helped with local information and even arranged for a massage including a taxi to get there. They can arrange all kinds of trips.
Breakfast was fresh and delicious with a variety of food and hot drinks.
There are just a few rooms, they have an elevator.
We had great views of the church from our rooms. It was neat having a balcony to sit and have a coffee.
Across the street is a craft brewery with delicious food and many places for shopping, convenience and coffee.
We would definitely recommend The Pilgrim and May even visit again one day. We were even given parting snacks before we left for the airport.

A great find in centre of Hanoi
A really friendly, welcoming hotel two minutes walk from St Joseph's cathedral. Felt very much at home as we were greeted by Mickey and Miss Lee. Lovely quiet room at the back with a balcony. All the staff were so helpful. Great buffet breakfast included in the price. Very near to the lake and the Water Puppet show.... A must!

Excellent séjour
TRES bien situé,centre ville, à côté de la Cathédrale, accueil amical, Services parfaits; le manager français très sympathique est toujours de bon conseil ainsi que son épouse, toujours souriante. Petit déjeuners complets et dans un environnement familial.
Nous y retournerons volontiers.

Un très bel hôtel dans le centre historique de Hanoï - excellent rapport qualité/prix
Même si on le souhaitait et ce n’est pas mon cas il serait difficile de trouver un défaut ou un reproche à adresser à cet hôtel créé et tenu de main de maître par Rodolphe (d’origine française) et Li son épouse vietnamienne. Deux managers très compétents et impliqués, disponibles et de bon conseil. La qualité des parties communes et des chambres est irréprochable, on comprend très rapidement que chaque détail a été pensé et soigné avec beaucoup d’attention. La chambre que j’occupais était vaste et lumineuse avec une très belle vue sur la cathédrale Saint-Joseph – chambre 601 –, avec ascenseur. Les meubles de rangement sont bien conçus, la literie est belle et confortable.
Le buffet / petit-déjeuner est excellent et diversifié (beaucoup de fruits frais incluant même, ce qui est rare, des pitayas/ fruits du dragon, et en plus un plat principal à choisir parmi 7 ou 8 (allant de la soupe au poulet jusqu’à un petit-déjeuner anglais aux œufs et bacon par exemple) préparés à l’instant.
Un excellent rapport qualité/prix, merci Rodolphe et Li. Surtout ne changez rien.
Excellent emplacement dans un quartier très calme et très sûr proche de la cathédrale, d’un des beaux lacs de Hanoï, de divers musées et de l’Opéra le tout accessible à pied.
NB : la salle de petit-déjeuner est certes petite et en sous-sol mais intelligemment aménagée – à l’impossible nul n’est tenu.

« Super! »
Trés satisfait, le couple qui tient cet hôtel est d’une extrême gentillesse, prêt à vous rendre de multiple services dont des visites. Les chambres sont jolies et trés soignées.Et pour terminer, l’emplacement est idéal.... Je ne peux que vous le recommander.

Feel home away from home
Lee and her husband ( owners) and staff are awesome!!😚😚😚😚😚, cool generous warm people, make you feel a member of the family, they helped us very much and organised alot of activities and tours for us.
Location is very central and safe, room is very nice, beds are comfy, breakfast is extremely fresh.
The guys for hospitality and gorgeous smiles, hope to see you again😊😊😊😊

Gran relación calidad precio. Habitaciones amplias y muy limpias. Gran atención y amabilidad por parte del servicio. Estuvimos cuatro noches en el hotel y en todo momento estuvieron atentos a nosotros

Nice place to enjoy Hanoi
We actually booked two nights in Gem Premier Hotel by Booking.com first. When we arrived, been told there was a mistake that they couldn’t offer us a hotel room of same category that we booked, but they offered us one night stay in another hotel which located only about 1 min walk from them and it was The Pilgrim hotel.
When we saw the hotel and the room we were very satisfied and accepted their offer. Then we ended by staying 5 nights in The Pilgrim hotel and cancelled everything with the other hotel.
The room was clean, modern furniture decor, spacious, comfortable beds. The bathroom was clean and equipped with what we needed.
Breakfast room was downstairs as many other hotels in Hanoi, they served us good , fresh breakfast every day.
The hotel locates very central and about 4 min walk to cathedral and 6 min to the lake.
Hotel’s manager Ms Lee and Mr Micky, they are really wonderful couple, helpful and very professional. They took care of us as we were their friends since 20 years. They even managed to book our trips from Hanoi to Haylong Bay, Sapa and night train tickets and even they airport taxi.
Well, I do highly recommend this hotel to explore Hanoi, it’s very centrally located, clean and a great professional staff.
