Jour 1 Pilgrimage to the Perfume Pagoda
About two hours drive through the countryside to Duc village, where we board a small boat for a one-hour trip up the Yen River to Thien Tru pagoda.
You can walk up (or take the cable car) to Huong Tich Cave, the Perfume Pagoda (at the top of the mountain), soak up the place, enjoy the spectacular scenery and have an authentic experience of the Vietnamese Buddhist religion.
Descend and have lunch at the restaurant. Then return to Thien Tru pier to admire beautiful sculptures, take pictures and relax… Get back in the boat to return to the main pier and then to the bus. Return to your hotel in Hanoi around 6:30 pm.
Travel by minibus : 1-2h.
