Day 1 Ba Be lake and Hua Ma cave
Our guide will pick you up by bus from your hotel around 7:30-8:00 am,
On the way to Ba Be National Park, we will stop at a local village for lunch in a restaurant, before our drive takes us through the mountains and tea plantations on the way to Ba Be.
You will then go to the Tay village of Coc Toc, where the houses are built in the traditional Tay way on stilts. The local Tay people will introduce you to their way of life whose central pillars are fishing on the lake and rice farming. This is where you will spend the night at the local people’s house.
After settling in, we will take you to Hua Ma cave, with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites. The rest of the afternoon is free, we suggest you to go for a walk or a bike ride around the village of Coc Toc, or to go kayaking on the lake.
In the evening, you will be served a homemade family dinner in our host family.

Day 2 Boat trip on Ba Be Lake
After breakfast, we will board a boat and head out onto the lake. Bring your swimsuit and take a dip in the refreshing lake waters from the top of the boat! The views consist of beautiful karst formations all around you, covered with patches of wild vegetation and rich wildlife.
The boat will then continue along the Nang River, allowing you to explore Puong Cave, filled with wonderful stalactites and stalagmites, as well as observe the colony of bats that live here.
After your exploration of the lake, you will have a chance to rest while we drive you back to Hanoi, admiring the beautiful scenery along the way.
You will stop for lunch at a local restaurant on the way before arriving in Hanoi around 5:30pm.
